Who are you?

My name is Aisha, I’m 23 and a recent graduate just trying to navigate my way through adult life now. I like to think of myself as someone who gives good advice and I like helping people, so you might find that many of my posts have some sort of advice/guidance element to them.

Why did you start blogging?

Well you can read all about why I started blogging in my relevant blog post here! Writing for me is the best  and easiest way for me to express myself and my head is always filled with ideas, thoughts and messages I want to get across, so blogging is a no brainer for me really.

When did you start blogging?

I have actually been blogging on and off for the past seven years. My first blog began in 2010 when I was doing my A Levels and with exams and the transition to University and how occupied my life became, blogging took a back seat for the four years of my degree. Now that I’m in a new chapter in my life, I felt it was best to document it on my blog so I started again in July 2016…but I’m still yet to make sure I’m always consistent with my posts.

What do you blog about?

My blog is mainly about life…vague I know, but like I said before, I have a lot of thoughts and so I try to get as much of my musings on here as possible. I cover my experiences in life, so the transition from University to adulthood, my dealings with religion and race, my experiences travelling and living abroad…so a lot. I’ve found trying to find my ‘niche’ and boxing myself into a particular genre of blog has limited what I want to write about and what I want to say. So yeah, I have a lot to say about many different things…but ultimately I think my blog comes under the title of ‘lifestyle blog’.
